About this trip
Start your day early with a scenic drive from Marsa Alam to the ancient city of Luxor, once the capital of the pharaohs. You'll be picked up from your hotel by the tour bus.
Pickup time depends on your hotel’s location and will be confirmed at booking.
You will then travel from Marsa Alam to Luxor, enjoying a scenic drive through desert landscapes and the Nile Valley, with a relaxing break along the way between the two cities.
Begin with a guided visit to the impressive Karnak Temple, one of Egypt’s largest temple complexes. Then cross the Nile to explore the West Bank, where you’ll visit the Valley of the Kings — your ticket includes entry to three royal tombs.
Tutankhamun’s tomb is not included, but can be added for $25 per person.
You’ll also see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, beautifully carved into the cliffs, and stop at the towering Colossi of Memnon.
Lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant is included.
You will also visit a traditional papyrus workshop, where you can see how this ancient paper is made, along with authentic local shops offering unique crafts and souvenirs.
After a full day of exploring, you'll return to your hotel in Marsa Alam in the evening.

💵 Payment
A deposit is required at least 2 days before the trip, or on the day of your arrival in Egypt if your Luxor tour is scheduled for the first or second day of your holiday.
The remaining balance is paid in cash at pick-up.

Your booking confirmation will include the exact amount.
For travel between cities in Egypt, we are required to obtain a license. A copy of each traveler’s passport will be needed, which we will arrange to collect at the same time as the deposit.
