Itinerary

Day 1 – East Bank Wonders

Pick-up between 04:30 and 05:00 (depending on your location)

Your private car will collect you from your hotel early in the morning. During the drive to Luxor, you will enjoy a short rest stop for refreshments.

Arrival in Luxor – Meet your Egyptologist guide

When you arrive in Luxor, you will meet your professional Egyptologist guide, who will accompany you throughout the day in your preferred language.

Visit to Karnak Temple

Your first stop is Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex ever built in ancient Egypt. Walking through the Great Hypostyle Hall, surrounded by its enormous stone columns, offers a powerful glimpse into the grandeur of the pharaohs.
You will also have the option to visit a papyrus workshop, where you can see how the ancient Egyptians created the world’s first form of paper.

Lunch

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a carefully selected restaurant on the East Bank.

Visit to Luxor Temple

After lunch, continue to Luxor Temple, a beautifully preserved monument dedicated to the royal ceremonies of ancient Egypt. Many pharaohs—including Tutankhamun and Ramses II—added their touch to this temple, making it a living timeline of Egyptian history.

Transfer to your accommodation – Free afternoon

Your driver will take you to your hotel or guesthouse on the West Bank.

The rest of the afternoon and evening are free for you to relax. If you would like to add extra experiences, we can arrange the following optional activities (not included in the tour price):

Day 2 – West Bank Treasures

Breakfast at your accommodation

Start your day with breakfast before beginning your exploration of Luxor’s West Bank.

Visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut

Begin your morning at the majestic Temple of Hatshepsut, beautifully integrated into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. This temple honors Egypt’s most successful female pharaoh, known for her prosperous and peaceful reign.

Visit to the Valley of the Kings

Continue to the world-famous Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom were laid to rest. Inside the richly decorated tombs, you can admire detailed wall paintings describing the journey to the afterlife. Your ticket includes entry to three tombs, with the option to add Tutankhamun’s tomb.

Visit to an Alabaster Workshop

Stop at a traditional alabaster workshop, where skilled craftsmen demonstrate the same carving techniques used in ancient times.

Lunch

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before your final visits.

Colossi of Memnon

Visit the impressive Colossi of Memnon, two colossal statues of Amenhotep III that have guarded the Theban landscape for more than 3,400 years.

Your last stop is Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramses III. This temple is renowned for its beautifully preserved carvings, offering some of the clearest depictions of battles, rituals, and daily life in ancient Egypt.

Return journey
